Linden Lane

Princeton, NJ

This project received a Historic Preservation award from The Historical Society of Princeton. Originally located on Nassau Street, this Greek Revival home was moved to its present location in the early 20th century where it grew through a series of not always sympathetic additions. This project entailed replacing those additions with a three story addition and finished basement. The exterior features beautifully proportioned cornices and window and door surrounds. The interior surprises with a towering stairwell and a combination of period, modern, and whimsical finishes and selections.

Tom and his team are quite simply in their own league when it comes to thoughtful, detail oriented custom building. Our restoration project was a complicated combination of 1830's restoration, demolition of later additions, and extensive new construction. Hundreds of custom features with unconventional or traditional materials were used. On a project of this scope, no architect can capture every contingency, so you need a builder who can creatively and flexibly adapt to changes. Pinneo is that kind of collaborative partner. I would recommend them for your residential project of any size.
